江愛松1943年12月出生於福州瑯岐島，1965年畢業於福建師範大學美術系，曾歷任新聞記者、美術編輯、莆田行政公署美術文學組織工作負責人、文藝刊物《蒲公英》主編、省美協理事、常務理事、市美協秘書長、書協常務理事等，福州畫院專職畫師、院務委員、副秘書長、藝委會委員、省市人大、政協畫師，國家壹級美術師（教授），福州市美術家協會副主席等職。
